We also got to take the kids to the circus this year again for MY birthday. And they loved it. Jo loved all the horses especially the little whites ponies she wanted us to buy her one. Jordan loved the motorcycles, and Tyson loved the tigers. Me I always love the elephants they have always been my favorites.

I know I have been a slacker on my blog but Tyson had a school performance and he was talking about bugs. As you can tell by the pictures he does not like to be the center of attention at all.

Because of our success with Papa the day before we decided to take the little ones up with us the next day to see if they could catch the big ones like Papa. Jo and Jordan are just now getting into fishing they really like doing by themselves. So we spent the day on Jordanelle again but we didn't find the big ones just a lot of little ones but they had a blast anyway. All the kids had new poles and they really enjoyed themselves.

For Tyson's birthday he wanted to go fishing with just the adults no "kids" he said. So we asked Papa to join us for a fun day at Jordanelle. It was Papa's first time bass fishing and he kicked all our butts. He first caught just a baby that was as big as his bait, then he caught one that was maybe 3" long not much bigger than the bait, but by the end of the day he caught one that was 2 lbs, then a 3 lb, and finally one that was over 4 lbs, it was huge. Way to go Papa next year you might have to do the tournaments with fishing skills like that we would want you on our team. We had a very fun day and caught some pretty big fish, thanks dad for coming with us and making us look bad...

Tyson turned the big 8 on September 10th and we went to Jump on It for his party. He had so much fun with his cousins and a couple of his friends. Thanks to everyone for coming and bouncing around...My little boy is getting so big and we are so proud of the way he is growing up, we love you Tyson Happy Birthday!!

We had a problem this month with our sink hole in the front yard we found out that it had sunk so much that it had pushed our sewer pipe down and it caused it to backup into the house, yucky, so our wonderful builder came right away and had to tear out our sidewalk and dig down 9 feet to lift it back up. Then to prevent this from happening again they filled the hole all up with pea gravel thanks to our friends at Geneva Rock. They are going to redo our front yard for us and repour our sidewalk before it snow. Thanks Better Builders for all your help...

This month the boys also started soccer again. They love the game, the city doesn't know that they are brothers so they put them on two separate teams again and they will end up playing each other in the last game of the season. Tyson of course says he is going to beat Jordan's team, but I think Tyson is going to have his work cut out for him because Jordan has gotten really good this year. Watch out big T weeman is getting bigger....

September was a big month for Jo. She started preschool for the first time and she got into dance class. They are teaching her ballet and jazz and she will have her first performance in October. She loves it so much and she looks so small in her dance clothes.

Yesterday my dad did something that was very special for the boys he took them hunting. Jordan asked papa if he would take him cause his dad wouldn't. My dad is the best, Jordan was so happy and Tyson just loves to go hunting no matter what he is hunting for. Thank you dad so much you have no idea how much it meant to us all. We love you.

The kids went over to Jason & Steph's house and rode bikes and played. Karson and Tyson took turns going off the jump and the girls took their babies around the block for a walk in their strollers. It was so cute, Jordan was scared of the jump so he just watched.

We are 2008 Anglers of the Year

Finally after months of tournaments it all payed off. We finished 5th for the last tournament and because we were so far ahead of the competition in points thats all we needed to take Anglers of the Year and Husband & Wife team of 2008. I also got 3rd place big fish cause I rock...We are going to get a big trophy and our picture in the paper at the finally competition in October with the news there and everything. We also get all of our tournaments paid for all next year. We are so excited and can't wait for Lake Mead in October..

The other day the we were sitting down to dinner and heard a thump on the big bay window at the back of the house. We all went outside to see what it was and it was this little bird it had flown into the window. It was dazed and so it let the kids pet it. After about 20 minutes it flew away and was fine. Tyson wanted to keep it of course he loves birds, but we told him it needed to go back to its nest.

Yesterday was quite eventful for Jo, her brother Jordan and her were playing WWF on the bed in the spare bedroom. Jordan said he did a leg sweep and took Jo down but she went down the wrong way and hit her chin on the window sill. I went in there and picked her up and saw all the blood and Jordan hiding under the covers. We decided to take her to the hospital because the cut was really deep. The doctor, a nurse, dad and I all had to hold her down cuz she is a strong little girl but after a half an hour she got 10 stitches. After we left the hospital she was back to her old self bouncing around the house and playing with her big brother.

We took the kids fishing on Sunday at Utah Lake and Jo loves to fish but she hates being close to the fish. Just for the record I caught the biggest one and Trace caught the other one..

At the reunion they had a lot of games, like the tug a war where my boys got to go against each other, they loved that. I don't remember who won (but I think it was Tyson), and then they had a water relay where everyone got wet trying to fill the pitchers at the end of the line. Tyson thought that was a lot of fun until it was over and he was all wet. There was also the famous Benson Family Auction, and of course Mr. David Benson himself was the auctioneer. He love to talk and we just wanted to say thank you dad for doing such a great job at spending our money for us..we got some fun stuff that the kids will be bringing over next time they see you..

Grandma & Grandpa Benson have done so much for this family. We are so glad to get to spend time with them and for the kids to get to know them. Grandma as always worked herself to hard but as always it payed off everyone was happy and well fed....lol We wanted to thank them for everything they do and tell them we love them. Mom and Dad I also wanted to say thank you for everything you do and to apologize for being late and not helping you out more. We love you too.

We went to the Benson reunion this weekend up at Payson lakes and Jo had so much fun. She wanted to play with the boys so she rolled around in the dirt and now we call her "pig pen".
She wouldn't let anyone wash her off she wanted to stay messy all day.

Trace & I are still in first place in the Southern Utah Region. We had our fifth tournament of this year and we are leading by 4 points. We have our last tournament in Aug. and hopefully we can stay on top and take Anglers of the Year. All we really want to do is beat Hummer Dude and Knobber Boy out of the lead....Our championship is in October on Lake Mead we will be fishing against the best of the best from the western united states.

Catch A Cure for Cancer Annual Bass Fishing Tournament!!
Tyson's first bass fishing tournament and he did awesome. He caught 4 out of the 5 fish they weighed in, and the fish he is holding was the 4th biggest catch of the day weighing in at 2.67 pounds. Trace & Tyson took 13th place with a total of 7.21 pounds out of 39 boats, pretty good for his first time. We might have created a monster!!!
